Ok guys I want to give you my version of what happens before you all ask yourselfs what happened.
On the Saturday morning we drove to Donky's garage and replaced my motor mounts for a stronger set, after that I connected a new switch to the NOS Arm system. The NOS activator I had already replace in NL.
We took the car out of the garage where I launched the car on the parking area with Sam sitting next to me. Turned right out of the garage and floor it !!
The new clutch and the engine mounts we're doing fine, so as I went to turn around I opened the Nos bottle and flicked on the ARM switch.......pssssssss I heard the noise so I turned the engine off while Sam and I looked under the motorkap. The whole of the Intake manifold was frozen......the new Activator switch was stuck open.....I run to turn the bottle off and pull the key out of the ignition......I turned the key just a bit the wrong way...CONTACT!!!!!BANG!!!!!!!!!!!
Well the rest is history......Game Over.....The Intake manifold, throtle body , VAF and a few other things all where destroyed....
after a good inspection it turns out that the New Activator Switch I had bought worked on Reverse, compared with the switch I had....so it was always on...Aint that a bitch!!
Thanks to Bart, we drove back in his car...all four of us and our dog...
got back picked up Barts Bus and a car trailer...drove all the way back....picked the car up and then drove back....hahahhahahhah
2500kms in 3 days!!!
A special Thanks to Donky for letting the car stay in the garage all night and helping us in the way that you did.....really appreciated it....
Well the story continues...The car is at Jeroentjes ...the new engine is on its way, the turbo and a load of other goodies are all ready here waiting........so
The RESURECTION is coming.
