Ook bij een Turbo motor, bij bepaalde types is is ook tegendruk erg wenselijk.
ik moest denken aan wat miguel een hele tijd terug eens zei, en dat klinkt ook erg logisch:
when youre engine fires it sends a pulse through the exhaust, The faster that this pulse can travel along the exhaust the better. The bigger the pipe the more the pulse is slowed down. what you are actually looking for in a good exhaust set up is Velocity, the speed at which the exhaust gasses can travel down the pipe, Back preasure will only slow down the pulse even more, what you see inside the silencer is actually a bottle neck, this squeezes the gasses increasing the Velocity. Removing the middle silencer will slow the down the velocity and you will loose some torque, and yes Mazda has worked out the correct Gas Velocity for each car
mazda zal er wel overna gedacht hebben dmv een aantal bochten en dempers de uitlaatsnelheid te bevorderen dus ik denk toch echt dat er wel een kern van waarheid in zit..
maar goed, je moet doen wat je zelf wil natuurlijk...

de tempmeter moet inderdaad mooi in het midden blijven... dat ie er onder valt als de motor uit is heb ik ook, dus dat klopt wel..
en een beetje witte rook/damp is echt niet raar met dit koude/vochtige weer hoor
